Key Responsibilities:
Primary responsibility for day-to-day litigation activities for an independent case load.
Take and defend depositions and handle all aspects of responding to and propounding written discovery.
Make court appearances including arguing law and motion.
Develop settlement strategies and negotiation settlements directly or via mediation.
Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex motions and trials.
Communicate with and advise clients.
Job Requirements:
CA Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and in good standing.
Strong writing skills with the ability to draft clear legal documents.
Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis.
2 - 5 years experience in Labor and Employment litigation.
Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
